Micro Enterprise/Small Business Training and Consulting and Course for the Agency’s Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSSP) participants. Services included Business Readiness Reviews, Logo Design, Brand Development, Business Card Design, Brochure Design, and Business Plan Development
MDCG was hired by Capital Area Community Action Agency (CACAA) to provide Consulting Services and to conduct a Micro Enterprise/Small Business training course designed to help students who were interested in starting a micro-business learn cutting edge techniques for success through guidance and assistance in developing their business plan, specific instructions on licensing/permits and other IRS requirements. MDCG worked very closely with each participant on brand development and to develop an effective Marketing Tool Kit which included but was not limited to providing LOGO Designs, Letterhead/ Stationary Design, Business Cards Design, Flyer Design, Brochure Design, and on-going monitoring for “Business Success”. All students received a Certificate of Completion. MDCG taught the course over a five week period including topics such as: an Overview of Entrepreneurship, How to Write a Business Plan, Marketing and Social Media Marketing, Business Survival Strategies, Funding your business venture, Loan assistance and applicable grant funding for non-profit organizations, Understanding different legal platforms or structures of operation, necessary forms, permits, licenses and insurance needed to operate a business, income tax aspects and Business Continuity.
